The following telegram has been received from
the Hongkong Branch of this Association:-
"Mass meeting held there on 7th Nov., unanimously
passed following resolution:- that it is the opinion
of this meeting that the interned prisoners deported
from this Colony to Australia should at the con-
clusion of the war not be permitted to return here or to China but should be repatri ted to Germany and
this meeting hereby reaffirms its unalterable con- viction that no German subject shall be allowed to reside in this Colony or trade here for a period of
years.

I am directed by the Chairman to say that he
would like to call at the Foreign Office to discuss this question, and that he would be much obliged
you would kindly inform me what day and hour would
suit your convenience for an interview.
